It's hard to write a brief blurb about yourself when it starts like this: I graduated with a degree in Performing Arts and Social Justice, with an emphasis in Dance. I ended up in Los Angeles where I'm attempting to start a business and make my way as an artist. One day, I woke up and went hey, I think I'm actually a starving artist. I primarily perform as a professional belly dancer, but also still have the occasional modern dance gig.
These are the things that Inspire me and the things (I like to think) I've learned, especially about being a dancer in LA. I also like to pass on information about classes, auditions and more in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Amazing talented young dancers performing to the song “The Moment I Said It” by Imogen Heap
And of course the Choreographer Kate Jablonski is extremely talented.
Here I go again. Have I said this on here before?
Imogen Heap again? Really? Modern or contemporary choreography to Imogen Heap is starting to feel so mainstream and cliche to me. It’s almost like anytime someone is trying to find a piece of “different” music to choreograph to, they settle on Imogen Heap.
(Aside: I actually think this choreography is quite good and the dancers are amazing, so I’m not trying to bash the piece above, it just reminded me of this whole thing.)
Maye it’s because I personally went through my Imogen Heap phase like 4 years ago. But maybe it’s also because I’ve been on a quest to choreograph and find new music to do so to and people actually suggested Imogen Heap to me. Really? That’s about the least unique and legitimately creative thing I could do.
Here I go again. Have I said this on here before? Imogen Heap again? Really? Modern or contemporary choreography to...
Oh. My goodness. SO. AWESOME.
